Abstract

This legal discusses the practice of fulfilling Job Loss Insurance specifically for workers who experience termination of employment study at BPJS Employment Yogyakarta City. The problems raised in the research are in the form of the practice of claiming Job Loss Insurance benefits and the obstacles faced in the process of disbursing benefits. The method used is empirical legal research, namely by directly observing its practice in the community and supported by a normative approach with primary and secondary legal materials. The results of the research show that the practice of providing Job Loss Insurance has not been fully implemented, especially in Yogyakarta City, benefit claims that can be accessed by workers only in the form of cash, while job training and labor market information have not been carried out properly and the obstacles faced are microcompanies that have not met the requirements, access to job training that is difficult to find and does not vary, and limited information on the use of Ministry of Manpower accounts.
