Abstract

In Indonesia, Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) are integral to the national economy, with over 62 million entities contributing significantly to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment. Despite their economic importance, MSMEs face substantial challenges in financial management due to limited assets, sales, and workforce size. The reliance on manual financial tracking and a lack of financial literacy worsens these challenges, impeding strategic growth and access to capital. This study underscores the necessity of developing a tailored financial management application to address the unique needs of Indonesian MSMEs. By integrating appropriate methods and algorithms, the proposed solution aims to streamline financial processes, enhance decision-making, and support sustainable expansion for these vital economic contributors. The author has successfully developed an application that operates seamlessly under various conditions. This achievement was realized through a meticulous process that began with a comprehensive system requirements analysis and business domain analysis. The design phase followed, where the author carefully considered the necessary services and their respective functionalities. The construction of the application was carried out using Android Studio, a decision influenced by the prevalent use of the Android operating system in Indonesia’s microservice sector. The author’s efforts have resulted in an application that not only meets the demands of the current market but also anticipates future trends and user needs. This accomplishment underscores the author’s commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions that enhance the user experience and drive the industry forward.
