Abstract

Banking is one of the most important institution because almost all activities which have relation to the economical activities in the implementation of development need the banking services. Currently, the banking activities has been influenced by various products in informational technology to give the service toward its customers. One of them is facilities of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) which mostly facilitate the customers in conducting e-banking transaction. In providing service, banking relies on the customers's trust. Thus, it needs the existence of legal protection on behalf of the customers. Various cases relating to the disappearing of money in electronic system in operating the ATM and have not been protected by the law. The legal protection which is given to the customers in overcome every case relating to the banking electronic system needs to be more developed. This research is normative legal research, the data has been gathered would be analysed qualitatively and used deductive process of thingking.
