Abstract

This research aims to analyze self-esteem in moderating the influence of role stress fit towards the organizational commitment. This research was conducted on implementer employees of Yogyakarta’s Customs who have work period more than a year. This analysis used the method of MRA (Moderating Regression Analysis). The result of the regression analysis shows that the role stress fit gives positive influence towards the organizational commitment and selfesteem is able to moderate (strengthen) the effect of role stress fit towards the organizational commitment. The implication of this research is to improve organizational commitment that the company should give the helps to the employees who have problems in their work, give approriate work equipment to them in supporting their activities, and give the opportunity of the next job promotion for the excellent employees.
