Abstract

This research aims at identifying the factors influencing at performance craftsmen in project construction. The performance was explored using structured questionnaire through bricklayers, carpenters, blacksmith, the ceramic of craftsmen, and the others in Yogyakarta, West of Java, Center of Java, DKI Jakarta, and Lampung. The Factors are GNP, Productivity and Satisfaction. The instrument of performance style by craftsment was arrangement from study literature, whilst the instrument rated by craftsments themselves utilized Herzberg Theory. The study successfully obtained 201 respondents from five province. The factors influencing performance style of craftsment are tested using reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. Result show that factor support productivity have reliability to influencing better than factors satisfaction. Furthermore, the factors were ranked using Kendall concordance analysis. Results show that the rangking of the factors are : efficiency (1st), wages (2nd), experience (3th), age (4th), material on schedule (5th), motivation of family (6th), the lower manager or middle manager always to control the work (7th),source of science to know as craftsmens (8th), while the factors satisfaction have lower significance to influencing the performance of craftsment. And multiple regression analysis show that : Y performance = 66.208 + 0.970xGNP + 0.665 x productivity + 0.455 x satisfaction With R2 = 0.592 and Y work experience = -7.511 + 0.212 x education + 0.359 x knowledge + 0.523 x age With R2 = 0.352
