Abstract

The arm conflicts between Israel and Palestine is probably one of the longest arm conflicts in the history of modern world. The twists and turns between one arm conflict to an expired –or violated, cease fire agreement between the concerning parties kept eternal peace out of reach from the area. The history of the area of Palestine is filled with violence, a timeline stretch long before the times of Jesus Christ to the Second World War, and up until this very day. The arm conflict between the State of Israel and the people of Palestine was originated in the year of 1948, when the Zionist Organization launched a military campaign guided by the master plan Dalet. The implementation in 1948- 1949 firstly aimed to secure territories of a proposed Jewish State according to the UN Resolution 181 (II) 1947, and during its implementation the military operations shows development of the possibilities to expand the newly-declared State territories, then eventually breached the territory of the so-called Independent Arab State and neighboring countries. The objective of this thesis is to elaborate and provide answers to whether there are indications of violations of international law related to arm conflicts regarding the immigration by force of the people of Palestine committed by the Israeli military forces in 1948. This thesis was mostly written using the research method of normative laws. This thesis was also written for the purpose as one of the requirements to gain an under graduate program scholar degree in Faculty of Law University of Atma Jaya, Yogyakarta.
