Abstract
Sea turtle are a rare and endangered species and caused by a variety of things ranging from the destruction of ecosystem in which sea turtle life, in nature and by human destructive activities such as illegal trading, and marine pollution. In Government Regulation number 7 of 1999 it has been regulated that all types of sea turtle have been protected and carried out by conservation as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding on Asean Sea Turtle and Protection. Thus, it is stipulated that all countries in the Asean region have an obligation to manage, protect and conserve all species (if sea turtle and their habitats exist in the ASEAN region) in accordance with the national laws of each countries.
