Abstract

This legal writing/mini thesis entitled Legal Protection on Employees’ Rights in PT Tripanca Group Experiencing Bankruptcy. The problem formulations in this research are: 1) why did the employees’ rights by shape of severance pay, rights compensation and working reward not fulfilled by PT Tripanca Group experiencing bankruptcy?, and 2) how is the effort conducted by employees in the matter of unfulfilled of the rights by shape of severance pay, compensation and working rewards during PT Tripanca Group experienced bankruptcy? The purpose of this research was to find out why is the employees’ rights by shape of working reward not fulfilled by PT Tripanca Group experiencing bankruptcy and what is the effort conducted by the employees in the matter of rights unfulfilled by shape of severance pay, rights substitution and working rewards. This research was conducted in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. The source persons in this research were: 1) curator on property of PT Tripanca Group, and 2) the judge sentencing bankruptcy verdict to PT Tripanca Group. From the result of research it can be drawn conclusion that: 1) the employees’ rights by shape of severance pay, working reward, and rights compensation are not fulfilled by curator party; 2) The efforts conducted by the employees of PT Tripanca Group has not been maximal; and 3) The curator has not conducted the fulfillment of employees’ rights by shape of severance pay, working reward, rights compensation and it is not appropriate to the Law Number 13 of 2003 on Labor.
