Abstract

Ombudsman institute are known as one of institutes that have function as a tool of control against Government’s action. The existence of LOD DIY is the real illustration of the control in the region. How does realization of this control function? Based on that theory, the writer did the emperical research with the field study. The writer give some questions to respondences in which the result will be analyzed as qualitative based on the certainly law and literature study. The result of this research is LOD DIY has done its controlling function. In the realization, LOD DIY found some of obstruction that the most of them as a weakness of their law base. LOD DIY has done to find some of solve this obstruction. The writer give an advice and a recommendation to the Governor of DIY Provinces for change Peraturan Gubernur DIY No 21 Tahun 2008 Tentang Organisasi dan Tata Kerja Lembaga Ombudsman Daerah di Propinsi DIY more perfectly.
