Abstract
Implication of the duty to fulfill the Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulation about Single Presence Policy still unknown if the regulation give a good consequence or not. According to the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK), Controlling Shareholders (PSP) can only have 1 (one) conventional bank, they can own more than 1 (one) if another bank is a sharia principle banking or mixed banking. Recently, Financial Services Authority gave a statement that Single Presence Policy did not give a good profit to big banks that mergering a small bank and Financial Services Authority want to review the regulation. The writer applied a qualitative analysis which based from laws and regulations and interview from resource person. Through interview with resource person from Bank Danamon, which recently just completed the merger with Bank Nusantara Parahyangan, noted that bank merged as cause of duty to fulfill the Financial Services Authority Regulaton are far from what Financial Services Authority has been stated. The implication as cause of duty to fulfill the FSA Regulation about Single Presence Policy still unknown because of lack information about those compeleted bank merger.
