Abstract

The title of this research is : “Responsibility of sand mining company Citra Mataram Konstruksi (Block 1) to Occupational Health and Safety in Progo River area, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta”. The purpose of the research related to the title is to knowing the implementation of occupational health and safety at Citra Mataram Konstruksi (Block 1) Company. This research use empirical method. The data collected through research in the form of observation, interviews and the distribution of questionnaire directly to workers in Citra Mataram Konstruksi (Block 1) Company and using non random sampling techniques in determining the respondent. According the data that has been collected and after the analysis can be conluded that Citra Mataram Konstruksi (Block 1) Company is in accordance with the provisions related to the implementation of occupational health and safety in the sand mining company
