Abstract

Each city must have a Green Open Space (RTH) of at least 30% which is 20% for Public RTH and 10% for Private RTH. The percentage of RTH availability owned by the City of Pontianak is currently only 10.4% of its area. This research discusses "Implementation of Green Open Space Provision Based on Pontianak City Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2013 on Pontianak City Area Spatial Plan 2013-2033 in Pontianak City of West Kalimantan Province". This research aims to explain how the implementation of the provision of green open space by the Pontianak City Government based on Pontianak City Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2013 on The Pontianak City Area Spatial Plan 2013-2033 in Pontianak City. The research method used is the empirical legal research method. The data collection techniques used are with interviews and literature studies. Based on the analysis of data that has been done, it was concluded that the implementation of the provision of green open space in Pontianak city has not been fully implemented by the Pontianak City Government and has only been realized by 10.4%, due to limited land availability, lack of government attention, especially in utilizing and managing land to be used as green open space, the difficulty of adding new locations to be used as green open spaces, the difficulty of land acquisition, requires a large cost for the construction or creation of space. Green open in Pontianak city and lack of budget to carry out the construction of green open space in Pontianak city.
