Abstract

One of the most well-known investment products on the IDX is shares. Shares listed on the stock exchange can also experience delisting. Delisting is divided into 2 namely voluntary delisting and forced delisting. Delisting is important for investors in their activities in the capital market because the shares cannot be traded anymore. One type of delisting is voluntary delisting, which is a delisting submitted by the issuer himself. Because the issuer himself submitted the delisting application, he was actually considered capable of fulfilling the delisting requirements as stated in the regulations. Delisting is an important matter to study in order to know the consequences for investors because investors are often the weak party and their rights are set aside. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implications of voluntary delisting by PT Danayasa Arthatama (issuer) for investors. This research method uses a type of normative research, using primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. Then, the data is processed using qualitative analysis. Based on the research results, it is known that the consequences of voluntary delisting for investors, according to the applicable regulations, are obtaining buybacks from the shares they own. However, PT Danayasa Arthatama did not buy back all public shares.
