Abstract

This research is done to answer the law issue that occured in the subject of license that is on how the Governmental Policy of Sleman Region handles the publishing and the request of License of the Building Permit ( IMB ), and on the problems that usually happen in requesting the License and publishing the Building Permit. This research’s purpose is to gain the data on the law issues that usually occurs, and then analyze it thoroughly. The sort of the research used in this study is a normative law research that is employing the secondary data sources which consist of primary law subject study method and interview which are analyzed in a qualitative way. The result of this research shows that the submission of Building Permit should be done via UPTPSA ( Unit Pelayanan Terpadu Perjiinan Satu Atap ) that involves the technical service : Kimpraswil (Pemukiman, Prasarana Wilayah). Furthermore, there are a lot of difficulties in the administration of the Building Permit, such as : the administration of permit that is complicated and takes a lot of time, the apparatus and the technical service of the permit service which are not professional, the high administration cost, etc. Therefore, it can be suggested for the Government of Sleman Region to act professionally in improving the public service in permit service, especially in the building permit.
