Abstract
This study discusses legal protection regarding foreign nationals (foreigners) who commit immigration violations (overstay) from a human rights perspective. The purpose of this study is to find out how the protection of the rights of foreign citizens who commit immigration violations in the Province of Bali in terms of human rights, and to find out whether Indonesia has implemented obligations regarding the protection of foreign nationals even though they have committed immigration violations. The research method used is a normative method that focuses on Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights and Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration in Indonesia.
