Abstract
Recently there have been activities done by restaurants in which they listen to songs from various artists, and they tune in to songs from various radio stations. The author wants to analyze the act by looking at the applicable laws and regulations in order to determine whether the act can be categorized as a copyright announcement act. The author uses normative legal research. Normative legal research is legal research that has a focus on legal norms. In carrying out the research, researchers will focus on systematic law, the conclusion that can be drawn is the act of playing a song through a radio station conducted by the restaurant cannot be categorized as an act of announcement, and consequently not included as a form of copyright announcement.
