Abstract
This study discusses forest fires which causes transboundary haze pollution to be very detrimental to polluted countries and polluting countries. The ASEAN Agreement on Transboundary Pollution exists to solve the problem of haze pollution due to forest fires. Legal issue raised is about how to implement the ASEAN Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution in controlling haze pollution due to forest fires in Indonesia. The method used in this study is empirical research which is field research with primary data obtained from interviews with informants. Research findings so that Indonesia has implemented the ASEAN Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution quite well by having and issuing several regulations related to the environment and air pollution and the existence of measures to enforce compliance with the regulations that have been issued, but there are still corporations that have not been legally processed. The recommendation given is that the Indonesian government needs to be more assertive in enforcing laws and regulations related to the implementation of the ASEAN Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution in Indonesia.
