Abstract

Land acquisition is the activity of providing land by providing adequate and fair compensation to the rightful parties. This research aims to find out the process of providing compensation in land acquisition for toll road construction in Klaten Regency, and to find out the consignment process if there are people who reject the amount of compensation. The research method used is empirical legal research. In its implementation, there is a rejection of the amount of compensation which is then carried out consignment at the Klaten District Court. Consignment is carried out based on (Regulation of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Supreme Court Regulation Number 3 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Filing Objections and Depositing Compensation to the District Court in Land Acquisition for Development for the Public Interest). The solution carried out by the government in the land acquisition process is that deliberations regarding the determination of compensation must be carried out by listening to the entitled parties.
