Abstract

The issue in this legal research is the breach of contract committed by PT. Yali Construction Indonesia against PT. Sinar Baru Konstruksi, as well as the considerations of the judges of the North Jakarta District Court in the case of construction services for the PT. Chinli International Footware factory. The research method used is a normative legal research by analyzing the judges considerations and linking them to the applicable laws. In this case, the researcher used the verdict of the North Jakarta District Court with case number 68 Pdt.G/2022/Jkt.Utr, which involved a dispute between PT. Sinar Baru Konstruksi and PT. Yali Construction Indonesia. From this research, it is found that in construction work agreements, if one of the parties breaches the contract, then One of the parties who committed a breach of contract must be held responsible for the unfulfilled performance.
