Abstract
Waste management from fast food restaurants is important to do as part of efforts to prevent environmental pollution. The research method used in this research is an empirical research method. In the Olive Fried Chicken fast food restaurant waste management has been sorted into two, namely for dry waste disposed of in the trash which will then be transported by the carrier. Indirectly, this fast food restaurant has carried out the process of sorting waste management and preventing environmental pollution, but this fast food restaurant has not implemented the 3R principle (Reduse, Reuse, Recyle). The role of the Yogyakarta City Environmental Agency which has limited land to manage waste, which is currently the Piyungan landfill (TPA) in Yogyakarta is closed and causes waste to accumulate. One of the adverse impacts is the landfill waste that pollutes the water flow to the village around the landfill.
