Abstract

Study of Factors Influencing cost of Klamono-Ayamaru Streets Construction in Public Work Office of Maybrat Regency, West Papua, Marthinus Jitmau, 105101428/PS/MTS, February 2013, Major in Construction Management, Master of Civil Engineering, Graduate Program, Atmajaya University, Yogyakarta National street construction is required by people around Klamono-Ayamaru that is crucial in development and supporting growth of other sectors. Available transportation can make easier support among local areas in order for even distribution among areas. Priority of national street construction in Klamono-Ayamaru is follow-up of Law no. 21/2001 on the Special Autonomy in Papua and improvement of street infrastructure to increase accessibility in remote area with parameters of national street construction depending on its implementation cost from government. Analytical method was to determine components influencing implementation cost of street construction in Klamono-Ayamaru in the Public Work Office of Maybrat regency, West Papua using qualitative and quantitative method with multiple linear regression (stepwise method) to determine equation of factors influencing execution cost with social condition of supervisor, worker and consultant. Tests used in this research were determination coefficient (R2), F test, and T test. Equation in construction cost of Klamono-Ayamaru street were Y= 293.075,466 + 1,348X7+ 1,194 X8+1,439 X4; R2=0,983; F count=827,829 and T count: 8,258 (X7); 9,999 (X8); and 6,101 (X4). Equation for social condition of supervisor, worker and project consultant was Y=3,900 +2,655 F151 + 2,412 F157; R2= 0,474; F count =16,704 and T count= 4,484 (F151); and 4,000 (F157). It can be concluded that factors influencing Klamono-Ayamaru street construction is street preparation (X7), street hardening (X8), and common dig (X4) as well as social condition of supervisor, worker and project consultant, by considering supporting equipment (F151) and equipment storage (F157). In addition, street preparation and street hardening has strongly positive relationship with implementation cost, while common dig had moderate positive association.
