Abstract
This thesis entitled “Pelaksanaan Penggunaan Tanah Kas Desa untuk Tempat Pemakaman (Studi Kasus di Kecamatan Dukun, Kabupaten Magelang)” is based on the existence of a problem regarding the change of use of farmland (Land kas village) into the non-farmland as the cemetery in Diwak village, whether it was or it wasn’t in accordance with Government policy number 5 of 2011. This research was done empirically using primary data as the main data and secondary data as the supporting data. The research was done by reading and colleting the existing data which refered to the existing problem. Based on the analysis being done on the implementation of using village treasury land for the cemetery in Diwak village, it wasn’t in accordance withgovernment policy Number 5 of 2011 on regional spatial planning of Magelang District because the village local government did not aware about the terms, procedures and permits (utilization rules of village treasury land in the form of farmland in Magelang region). It happened because the certain government agency, which was dealing with this specific matter, did not give counseling and outreaching toward the villagers about the village treasury land and land use permits.
