Abstract

Internet banking use of internet by bank to promote and perform online transaction for conventional product to new product, such as pass book transfer to another account, money transfer to another bank, payment for various invoices. The problems are from the security problem, responsibility of the parties especially from the bank, to legal solution. Distinctive nature of internet activity and do not recognize the territorial boundaries of the State in turn, raises fundamental issues, namely the ability of law in carrying out its functions make arrangements and enforcement of sanctions And how the bank's ability to protect the customers of the Bank. Through this character someone privacy could be miss use by those who have certain interest. Based on this phenomenal the law protection is quit urgency. One of the law protections which are can be done is by regulating it in to certain law like Special Act. There will be have difference by study about the regulation related to privacy and the objective of this research is to identify how the implementation of law to protect costumer rights of the disadvantage’s related with the internet banking transaction. The type of this research is normative law research with statute approach, which is a study in legislation applied in this research. The existing form of preventive law still contains of many gaps and weaknesses and most of it is the number of the problems or cases on the stagnant of the internet banking.
