Abstract

The ability of the Regional Representatives Council (DPRD) in implementing the Sula Islands District Oversight Functions to increase local revenue and to know what are the factors that inhibit the Sula Islands District Government in improving the management of revenue. The data used in this study is primary data, secondary and tertiary Data. While the data analysis method used is descriptive method of analysis. The results showed that the ability of the District Government in implementing the Sula Islands Revenue management is still weak. It looks sectors Revenue receipts during the last five years did not experience significant improvement. Local Taxes and Levies should be the main sector in local revenue, but the revenue from these sectors only range in the average of 3 to 5 billion more.
