Abstract
This research aims to studying and analyzing the legal certainty in the management of employee social security for the self-employed and finding a rule which better be applied in management of employee social security for the selfemployed. The kind of this research is normative research, used the statute approach and the politics of law approach. This research found that the management of employee social security for the self-employed does not have a legal certainty yet. Therefore, it’s arrangement must be better improved, following the applicable law principles concerning social insurance, according to the rule of Act Number 3 Years 1992 about Employee Social Security, Civil Code and Commercial Code.
