Abstract
This study’s goal is to identify, test, and analyze the influence of work-life balance to job satisfaction among the nurses. It’s important, remembering most of the nurses are female, and they do have an important role in their family life. Six hospitals in Province of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, had been chosen as a sample with total participant 166 nurses through the questionnaire method. This study is done by using two kind of data analysis, mean score analysis and simple regression analysis. Mean score analysis is used to identify how well the work-life balance and job satisfaction of the nurses, and the simple regression analysis is used to seek the influence of work-life balance towards job satisfaction. Mean score analysis indicates that work-life balance and job satisfaction level among the nurses are good enough. And through simple regression analysis, it’s been discovered that work-life balance influence job satisfaction positvely, although it’s not significant.
