Abstract
This paper describes with the formulation, implementation and application of time discontinuous galerkin for solving initial value problem. Galerkin weighted residual methods using discontinuous approximations are developed the formulation of the methods is based on high degree of Lagrange Legmdre interpolants in lime. The computer programs are writlen in C++ based on objecl oriented programming. Numeical simulation of forced vibration systems are presented illustrating the performance of the proposed schemes and confirming the analytical result
