Abstract
The title of this thesis is Legal Protection for SPaylater Users in the Shopee Application which is reviewed based on Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. This study analyzes the fulfillment of SPaylater consumer rights based on the Consumer Protection Law Number 8 of 1999. The problem formulation of this research is how is the implementation of legal protection for SPaylater users in the Shopee application based on Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection? The purpose of this study is to see the legal protection of SPaylater users. Legal research is conducted using normative research methods that use laws and regulations on consumer protection as well as secondary legal materials in the form of books, journals, legal facts and interviews. Based on the legal research method, it can be argued that consumer protection has fulfilled the consumer rights of SPaylater users in the Shopee mobile application. In terms of providing security, information, being heard and complaining, protection, protection, non-discrimination and receiving compensation based on Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection
