Abstract
Productivity is one of the measuring tools for companies in assessing the work performance achieved by their worker. Lack of attention to productivity will be make unsatisfactory for the result. According to Nitisemito (2000), there are several factors that affect worker productivity such as; education and training, nutrition and health, motivation, job opportunities, opportunities for achievement, government policy, the skills of the worker themselves, technology, environment and work climate, work attitudes and ethics, and discipline. Construction activities are carry out in various regions in Indonesia, one of that is in the Magelang, Central of Java. This study focused on factors affecting labor’s productivity on construction projects in Magelang. The analysis data had been use descriptive analysis and statistic analysis with SPSS 23.0 software. Field research was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly with randomize twenty-four construction projects located in several area of Magelang where the questionnaire respondents are site managers. From the result of every factor that affecting labor’s productivity, there is no significant affect of every factor except number of family dependents factor which has positive relation ( B = 0.760 ). It means according to the perceptions of site managers in Magelang, if the number of dependents in the family increases by a few people, the labor’s productivity will be even higher. R2 value is 0.655. It means the affect of independent variables on the dependent variable is 65.50%.
