Abstract

The present research was aimed to analyze of the influence of shopping experience, price perception and quality perception toward value perception at the shopping centres in Yogyakarta. The research was model replication developed by Kerin, et al (1992). The research is survey research in which the object used was the shopping centres available in Yogyakarta. Sample of research was taken using non-probabality sampling method with purposive sampling technique that is the respondent selected if they were shopping their daily necessity each month at the shopping centres. Data collection was performed by distributing 200 questionnaires to respondents. From the result of questionnaires distribution can be processed about 176 questionnaires. By analysis instrument of the Structural Equation Model (SEM), the result indicates that SEM assumption that is sample sufficiency test, normality test and outliers test have been fulfilled. Afterward the examination to the structural model can he conducted. The result indicates as well that the model examined has fulfilled goodness of fit criteria that the structural model in the research was acceptable. The result toward hypothesis examination indicates that the shopping experience has significant influence toward price perception, the shopping experience and price perception have significant influence toward quality perception at the shopping centres. In addition, the shopping experience, price perception and quality perception have significant influence simultaneously to the value perception at the shopping centres.
