Abstract
In facing global competition in the future, Private Higher Education Institutions is forced to take several anticipative steps, especially by creating conducive corporate culture which enables to give positive contributions to its stakeholders. This research aims to find out whether organizational culture in High College Private has an influence on organizational commitment in Districk of Sleman. The concept of organizational culture was used in this research refered to Miller's idea of modification that devides corporate culture into 9 (nine) principles, including objective, consensus, superiority, unity, achievement, empirical, familiarity, integrity, and cura persona. The concept of organizational commitment refered to Porter's idea including desire to strive to others, acceptance to organizational values and strong motivation to remain to to stay in organization.
